Watching: Game of Thrones

Ok Ok so I'm a bit slow on the uptake of Game of Thrones, but let me just say... I've got four seasons of excitement ahead of me, whilst; if you have seen it... you do not!

I don't really know why it has taken me so long to start this series, I am usually all over wasting my days away in front of a TV.  I have just started on the second series, and already it has had me running through every emotion, some I didn't even know I was capable of.   Now... working for a news station, led me to believe I was a bit emotionless, desensitised and hardened, that there was nothing left to shock me, but... no no! I have been appalled, saddened, angered and overjoyed and I cannot wait to watch the next episode to put myself through the emotional roller coaster all over again.  If you have been living under a rock and don't know much about Game of Thrones, it is a fantasy drama, based on George R. R. Martin's novels; A Song of Ice and Fire,  that follows several noble houses in a civil war for the Iron Thrones of the Seven Kingdoms. 

Undoubtably, there are so many characters, and I had heard that it takes a while to get into and to understand who everyone is, but believe me... if I understand it... so will you! A tip though, don't watch it at work, I was literally sat on an overnight shift (in my downtime, naturally) with people assuming I was watching lesbian porn.  Which also brings me to the point of, it won't be available to buy on DVD in Doha, so you better get on the D/L.... and do it now! You won't regret it!  I may also have a weak spot for the northern UK accents, reminds me home! Now please, before commenting.. no spoilers, I've just made the mistake of googling Game of Thrones for images to add to this post, and already have spotted a few sneaky things that have ruined a few episodes for me I am sure!  RATING: ♥♥♥♥♥ Much love,
