Well I'm sure your reading lists will be full of who wore what over the past few days at the Oscars. And I'm afraid, this read will be no different. I posted a few outfits yesterday on my instagram but thought I would also write up a little post.
I am in love with Emma Stone's style, she ALWAYS pulls it out of the bag. For me, her Oscars dress topped the Vanity Fair After Party's number. Here she is wearing Elie Saab. Rosamund Pike's outfit also grabbed me, she looked flawless in Givenchy, Gweneth Paltrow's ensemble has grown on me drastically, I love the shoulder detailing, her dress by Ralph & Russo Couture.
Dianne Kruger wore Donna Karan Atelier & Joan Smalls, Balmain. I really love Dianne's outfit, and the top of Joan's. I did find these trouser/gown's rather unusual and for me, it brought memories back of the 90's when I used to rock the 'scrouser' look! Anyone else remember those?
Up next, none other than J-Lo. And wow, she looks incredible (as usual let's be honest) her first outfit by Elie Saab Couture and the second, for the Vanity Fair After Party she opted for a Zuhair Murad Couture creation. I have been seeing a lot of Zuhair's creations roaming about lately and I have to say I don't think there has been one that I have not liked!
I am definitely team Aniston, she just gets better with age, doesn't she look stunning in this Versace gown? Light hues were an absolute hit on the red carpet, Zoe Saldana opted for a similar shade in a custom Atelier Versace dress. Chloe Grace Mortez also looks amazing in Miu Miu.
If you are planning a dress for a ball this season, I'd guess nude/light pink was the way forward!
And finally, you cannot go wrong with an LBD (Long Black Dress in this case). Well actually you probably can, I'm sure there have been a few disasters in the past, but Rita Ora's dress is so not that! She looks incredible in Donna Karan Atelier at the Vanity Fair party.
