Today I had the pleasure of having nail art done by the talented nail technician, Matilda at Glow American Salon in Doha.

After booking in, Matilda got in touch to see if I had any ideas, which allows her to create a design an ahead of the appointment. I really love fruit themed nail art and as pineapples were tropical prints seen on the catwalks at fashion week in New York (check the post out here) I decided on a this as my theme.

Using top brands like Essie, Ciate and O.P.I , Matilda started to construct the funky nail art. Starting with a white base and then starting building up cute little pineapples.

I really enjoyed the experience of having a treatment in the salon! The salon itself is so grand and wonderfully decorated. I asked Matilda who designed the interior decoration, and it was Hillary Kozma (co-owner and manager). She clearly has the artistic streak! Matilda was friendly and carries out different nail services from false acrylics to shellac polish. I get the impression that what ever you want - Matilda will do what she needs, to get your desired look! I'm sure the same talent and attitude is held by all the ladies there.
