Mothers Day 2014

For all you Brits who are lucky enough to have your mums in Qatar for Mothers day... which is the 30th March, (for everyone who has forgotten) here are a few ideas of how to help her celebrate, or indeed a way to spoil yourself!

There are 4 different menus to chose from, so if like me you could eat cake for eternity, I'm sure you will more than enjoy the selection. Double joys if you have an entertainer book, it is BOGOF!    

  Sip & Savour @ Spice Market, W. 5:30-7:30 My mums personal favourite, Happy Hour at the Spice Market.  Drinks are half price, and you get a free starter. If the Spice Market isn't to your taste, check out our Happy Hour blog for more info.   Mothering Sun-day @ The Intercontinental Qgrabs are offering a discount for pool and beach access that can be used on Sundays (among other days). Children cost QR49 and Adults QR99.   Why not try a few cocktails at a height, here are a few of my favs. Happy Hour @ Strata, InterContinental The City 6pm-8pm Sky View Lounge @ La Cigale followed by Piano Bar, one free drink before 10pm for ladies

Women always appreciate chocolate gifts, but what if you could save on the calories... now you can, why not indulge in a chocolate massage @ the Four Seasons Spa?  It's a little pricey at QR1395 for 210 mins, but if you're not strapped for cash its sure to be a dream for any chocolate lover!  

     Alternatively, if you happen to be heading over to the UAE for the weekend, what better way to celebrate mothers day than to get all dolled up and head over to the races.  We will be doing a feature on the event.
