Twin Sets

If there is one current fashion that reminds me of my childhood its the good ol' matching two pieces. I really like twin sets and I just have not seen it done enough here in the desert! What I love about coords is that you can pair either item with something else to make more than one outfit.  I have trawled the internet (shock - that's all I ever seem to do!) in search of some lovely co-ordinates. The outfit below is from River Island, team the bold tribal print with chucky mules or wedges and retro sunnies.

One of my favourite online sites Nasty Gal stocks this fabulous piece, I really love the bright colours, perfect for a hot day down by the pool or beach. Lazy Twin Life's a Beach shorts cost $78 (QR280) as does the top.

This little number below also comes in a jacket and shorts option, which would look amazing teamed with a  crop top.

Albeit not very practical for life in the desert, this twin set from MinkPink would look fab at a rave or festival this summer. After all no one said we were just shopping for life in the desert.  Get your 'Illusions' set (below, left) from Cage City. The shorts will set you back £40 (QR245) and the top £26 (QR160).

If there is one thing I ♡ its a daisy! I really like this MinkPink skirt/crop top combo (below, right) also from Cage City. The top is £32 (QR195) and the skirt is £40 (QR245).

 

A site I view regularly is Rat & Boa, it's the perfect amount of grunge hippie.  They sell out of stock pretty quickly, so if you happen to see something you like - BUY it!  I have had a bit of trouble with how long they take to deliver, and I would recommend using Aramex over getting them to ship directly to Qatar, as I have had a couple of parcels stuck at the post office with no tracking number, and then had them sent back!  This Aurora Twin Set is £42 (QR260) for both pieces, it is however pretty see through, so I would recommend for a rave, festival or beach day.  Definitely not suitable to be wandering around the Souq!

I absolutely adore this mesh insert twin set from Hello Molly.  I have seen a dress very similar and have wanted it for ages, but I am now debating scrapping that idea for this! The Born This Way skirt is $49 (QR165) and top is $55 (QR185).  Both items would look great teamed with white, for different options.

Now again.... here is something NOT suitable for a stroll down the Corniche, but would definitely look amazing with a tan on the beach somewhere less Islamic. There are different prints available out there, that I have seen....one that I also love is Toby Heart Ginger - Nina, which is available at PepperMayo! But this (directly below) Leo Crop & Shorts set is from Miss Holly for $70 (QR235). If you are in Qatar, Vero Moda stock a similar outfit (with short sleeves) in black.
