This very much resembles us on our visits to Magnolia!

If your an avid Sex And The City (SATC) fan like us, you will remember Carrie and friends going to Magnolia Bakery for cupcakes in New York. This bakery later turned to a Franchise and now is based in many locations such as New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Beirut, Kuwait City, Doha and Tokyo. YES DOHA!

 Such a hidden gem!

 This bakery is popular for a reason, their cakes and cheesecakes are the BEST we have tried (& that's a fair few haha)
Their signature cake is the red velvet cake which is amazing! Harriet prefers the cheese cake version pictured below.

We tried the white chocolate and macadamia cheese cake, at first we thought it was a bit dry .. but lo and behold there was a white chocolate sauce in the middle! So delish!

They also do celebration cakes and our friend Karen had a lovely one to celebrate her last day at work with us!

Of course only for a sweet treat, we would strongly recommend that Magnolia Bakery is on your radar.
